About The Nadira Art & Design Collection

The Nadira Art and Design Collection

The Nadira Art and Design Collection is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to using art and design as a tool for healing, expression, and empowerment. For over 10 years, founder Stephanie has self-funded a range of impactful programs and projects. While she is best known for her fashion shows, her work also includes art therapy sessions for youth and adults.

These creative initiatives include:

• Safe Space” conversations

• Reality vision boards

• Canvas painting sessions

• Journaling workshops

• Crochet and sewing classes

Stephanie has mentored both youth and adults, encouraging them to engage in these types of artistic activities to support time management, self-expression, and mental wellness.

As an adult born with a degenerative eye disease, Stephanie is passionate about helping others move forward despite life’s challenges. She has been actively involved in the development of art therapy programs, fashion presentations, and other educational initiatives that promote resilience and creativity.

Recent accomplishments include:

• Pink and Black Honors – Artistic Visionary Award (2025): Recognized for outstanding contributions to the intersection of art and advocacy.

• Speaker, Prevent Blindness Eye Health Summit (2025): Addressed critical topics in vision care and community outreach.

• Executive Board Member, Prevent Blindness (2024): Served as a featured speaker on Capitol Hill advocating for national eye health initiatives.

• Exhibiting Artist, United Black Fund Cultural Gallery (2024): Showcased original work highlighting wellness, identity, and resilience.

• Art Therapy Workshop Facilitator (2022–Present): Leads transformative art therapy workshops that promote healing through creative expression.

• Producer, Self-Funded Fashion Charity Galas (2010–Present): Organizes high-impact events blending fashion, philanthropy, and purpose.

This year marks a milestone—Stephanie’s first charity gala under her nonprofit. She is boldly stepping out on faith, believing in the power of vision, action, and community. As she often says, “Faith without works is dead.”
